The Rock Shed is a rock, gemstone and mineral shop in Keystone, South Dakota, the small Black Hills town at the foot of Mount Rushmore. It is a favorite stop for rockhounds and families visiting the area.
The shop sells rocks, gemstones, fossils and minerals, from tumbled stones to display specimens, along with gemstone beads and jewelry, display stands and rock and mineral books. It is also a supplier of rock tumblers, tumbling grit and lapidary equipment, which you can buy in person or through its online store.
