Silver Cove Red Deer

Silver Cove is a family-run gem and mineral store, and its Red Deer head office on 61 Street bills itself as Western Canada’s largest gem and mineral store of its kind. Chris and Melissa started Silver Cove as a market-booth hobby in 2004, went professional as a mobile store in 2007, and now run storefronts in Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary, plus CanGems, the events arm behind the touring Rock N’ Gem Shows.

The Red Deer shop is a rock hound’s playground: mineral specimens from around the globe, fossils, raw and rough gemstones, tumbled stones, Canadian cabochons and facets including a Canadian sapphire collection, carvings and gemstone home décor, bead strands and jewellery findings, finished jewellery, and metaphysical supplies, books, oracle decks and tarot cards.
