NW Rockhounds

NW Rockhounds is a rock, mineral and lapidary shop in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood, serving collectors, hobbyists and crystal lovers. The store recently moved to a larger space at 9804 Lake City Way NE, with a grand opening in October 2026.

Inside you will find rough rocks and minerals, tumbled stones, polished pieces, fossils and specimens, plus lapidary supplies for people who cut and polish their own stones. NW Rockhounds also offers lapidary services and classes, so it is a natural fit for beginners who want to learn the craft as well as experienced rockhounds looking for slabs, rough and tools.
