Magus Books & Herbs

Magus Books & Herbs is one of the Twin Cities' longest-running metaphysical stores, located on Central Avenue Northeast in Minneapolis. It combines a large metaphysical and occult bookshop with an herb shop, carrying hundreds of bulk herbs and resins along with crystals, incense, oils, candles, tarot decks and ritual supplies.

The shop is a resource for many traditions, including pagan, Wiccan, hermetic and folk magic practitioners, and staff are known for their depth of knowledge. Magus also runs classes and events, and it takes orders by phone and email for customers who cannot visit in person.

Magus is at 2520 Central Ave NE. Call (612) 379-7669 or email Order@magusbooks.com.

Northeast Minneapolis is a short drive or bus ride from downtown. If you need specific herbs or resins in quantity, call or email ahead so the order can be prepared. The store's long history means staff can point you to hard-to-find titles, herbs and ritual ingredients that general shops rarely carry, and they are happy to help new practitioners get started.
