Caledonian Rock Shop

Caledonian Rock Shop calls itself the biggest crystal shop in Scotland. It was founded in 2018 by Dagmara, who holds a Master’s degree in geology specialising in mineralogy and petrology and has more than 30 years of experience collecting minerals and fossils and working as a lapidary.

The Glasgow showroom has a huge range of crystals, minerals and rocks, plus fossils, jewellery, fluorescent minerals and British specimens. Every piece is one of a kind and fairly priced. There are also small exhibitions focused on Scottish geology, and Dagmara’s private malachite collection is on display.

The showroom is on the first floor at 1173 Gallowgate, Unit 1, Glasgow G31 4EG (no lift or disabled access), next to the red car wash near the Forge cinema, with free parking nearby. It’s open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm with no appointment needed, and you can also buy online.
